The target audience of this event are mainly postdoctoral researchers, research organisations, universities and companies with interests in the clean and sustainable energy sector.

The speakers will be: Ramón Castresana (Director of Fundación Iberdrola España), Manuel Gómez Herrero (Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission), Agustín Delgado (Iberdrola Innovation & Sustaibaility Director), Teresa Rodríguez de Tembleque (Iberdrola Foundation Social and Training & Research Programmes Responsible), Dharik Mallapragada (Research scientist at the MIT Energy Initiative) and Sheila Duncan (ScottishPower HR Director).

Energy for Future (E4F) is an initiative of the Horizon 2020 MSCA-COFUND Program, which offers 28 postdoctoral fellowships, in 2 calls, for experienced researchers of any nationality who either hold a PhD or have at least four years of experience.

E4F will involve 19 partner organizations (i.e. 12 universities, 3 research centers and 4 energy companies) that will act as host entities where the fellows will carry out their research. These centers are located in Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States and Mexico.

Each postdoctoral fellowship will have a duration of 24 months, from January 1st 2022 to December 31st 2023,  for the fellows of the first call, and plans to promote mobility both between the different countries and between the academic and industrial sectors.

E4F offers structured,  international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral training and mobility fellowships in an outstanding research environment, fostering career development.
